Childhood friend of Mao's and his greatest rival. Beryl (for short) is the Number One Delinquet at Demon Academy. Always on time for class, doing her homework, volunteering and giving blood, she provides a stunning example to her fellow demons, on how not to act.

Name: Almaz

Title: Wannabe Hero

Came to the Netherworld to rescue the princess he idolizes, but ends up getting captured and enslaved by Mao. Forced into slavery and all alone, there seems to be no hope for Almaz. He hopes to one day become a real hero like his mentor, Sir Aurum the legendary Hero.

Name: Sapphire

Title: Princess

A warrior Princess from the Human World who came to the Netherworld to destroy the Overlord. She's a practically emotionless and ruthless killer. If there doesn't seem to be a quick way to decide the end to something, you can bet she's prepared to kill everyone involved.

Name: Mr. Champloo

Title: Teacher

Champloo is the Home Economics Teacher and, like the class, an enigma all unto himself. He's the master of the Fire Chaos Style Kitchen Fist, an arts martial that follows the path of cooking. He always finds a way to lift the spirits of those around him with clever cooking analogies.
